Old Business – NONE
New Business – Bob Streightiff thanked Jim Bailey of Golf News for his article about a JAGA meeting.
Guest Speaker – Garry Smits was introduced by Fred Seely. Garry complimented JAGA for its Scholarship Fund and the many young men and women that it has assisted in preparing for their careers. Just back from The Masters, Garry shared some thoughts: Trevor Immelman went wire to wire with this years win and deserves much credit for hanging in throughout. Greens were FAST and pins were tougher on Sunday. It ultimately gets down to putting. Watch Justin Donavan and Johnson Wagner in the future. Don’t look for Jack Nicklaus to be the honorary starter in the future. Jack does not like that type of honor. Several questions and thoughts were dealt with regarding the Players.
Pairings Coordinator, Ed Tormollen announced the pairings and tees for the day’s golf. Please give all the information needed ( current index and tees) when signing up for the Directors meetings.
The Blessing for Lunch was given by Jim Todd.
Meeting Adjourned at 11:25 PM
Respectfully Submitted, Joe Power, Secretary |
