The first is this years’ Inductions into the Golf Hall of Fame scheduled for November 12th just after dusk. If you can not be there in person, make sure you catch it one hour later on the Golf Channel. Hubert Green and Curtis Strange will become members of the World Golf Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2007. Green was selected in the Veteran’s category by the World Golf Foundation Board of Directors Selection Committee and Strange was elected on the PGA TOUR ballot. The LPGA's Se Ri Pak, upon playing in her 10th LPGA event this season, qualified to become part of the 2007 Class of Inductees. During the U.S. Open, Charles Blair Macdonald was announced as a 2007 Inductee from the Lifetime Achievement Category. To round out the 2007 class, Ireland’s Joe Carr, and Australia’s Kel Nagle will enter the World Golf Hall of Fame in the Lifetime Achievement and Veteran's Category respectively. Stories at the induction will focus on the personal sides of each individual’s life.

The second event is the Featured Exhibit. The World Golf Hall of Fame will open a special exhibit that celebrates the stories of Jack Nicklaus’ benchmark career in golf and his successful career and life off the course. “Jack Nicklaus: Golf’s Golden Champion” will open in conjunction with the 2007 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Nov. 12. Traveling Exhibitions are in the works for such non-traditional sites as Lexington, Kentucky. Horse country will get a taste of World Class Golf Exhibitions. More is being planned for similar exhibits in other “non-traditional” parts of the World; Marketing at its best. Sure to please. Thank you, Jack, for a fine presentation and very thorough explanation of the many facets of The World Golf Foundation.
