2007 Jacksonville Area Non-Exempt Players On July 12-15, the Jacksonville City Amateur will be held at Deerwood Country Club and Marsh Landing Country Club. This event is open to those players with an index of 10 or less. See the Conditions of the Competition. There will be a maximum of 60 players. 21 players are exempt; therefore, JAGA will accept the first 39 entrants based on date of entry and index. If more than 39 entrants are received, a waiting list will be compiled. The entry form is here. A copy will also be available in the Golf News. The entry fee for the Tournament is $200, payable to JAGA. Entry forms must be received by July 5, at 5 pm. Exempt Players An exempt player for the 2007 Jacksonville Area City Amateur Championship is one who made the cut in 2006. The 2007 Championship will be played July 12-15 at Deerwood Country Club and Marsh Landing Country Club. There will be a maximum of 60 participants. This means that there were 39 places available to the general golfing public with an index of 10 or less (if an excess of entries are returned, a waiting list will be developed). Therefore, in order for you to guarantee a playing spot in the Championship, you MUST return your entry no later than June 21 at 5 pm. There will be NO exceptions as we expect a full field this year.
